Here's my take on the new Visa Bulletin First, bad news for Dominicans. Separate cutoffs have now been established for the Family First and 2B preference categories which are now earlier than the worldwide dates. Family First is 01 JUN 2004 and 2B is 01 JAN 2002. Also, Indian numbers are pretty bad again with most categories stalled. Mexico is the only bright spot with some strong improvements in the employment categories. Call me insanely confused idiot, but here is a thing:
I work for a major MNC (of course pays me 15% less than I should be making). My boss is also leaving the company. At the same time, I am getting an offer from another local (small) company, better position and pay. My GC is pending PD Jul-05/EB2 India from MNC. Should I leave at the 11th hour?
Just to clarify both are consulting companies.

the quick answers. Draw your shapes in the extrusion editor with the pencil tool. Outside shape of the hex nut and inside shape. If you get the shape you want, it will be a nice hex nut when you return to scene editor.
The right answer: Draw in illustrator and save your self the headache of drawing to draw anything outside of simple primitives in swift.
The even better answer. Any other true modeling program will provide better results. (from 3d paint, 3ds, maya, etc..)

1. I am seeing that June'07 485 filer claiming to get GCs this month. If that is the case, then the possibility of pre-june cases of getting GC are also higher.
2. However, the service center processing times shows that they are processing only Aug'06 receipted AOS applications as of July 07. https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/Processtimes.jsp?SeviceCenter=NSC
If the statement 1 is true, then USCIS should have cleared most of the pre-july 07 cases. I say MOST and not ALL. In this scenario, the processing dates of service center in coming months SHOULD move to June - July 07 pretty soon (theoritically). Does anyone agree with this one?

A piece of good news on immigration was largely overshadowed by the Arizona mess. Republican Senator Richard Lugar of Indiana and Democrat Dick Durbin sent a letter to DHS Secretary Napolitano urging her to stop the deportations of students who might be eligible for relief if the DREAM Act or comprehensive immigration reform should pass. DREAM would allow some who entered the US as children to obtain permanent residency if they attend college or join the military. No word yet on how Napolitano reacted.

Hi All,
My Green card Priority date is April 2004 under EB3 category.
I-140 was approved 1yr back and I-485 applied in August 2007.
Where to check the current processing dates and when will we receive Green card?
Any idea still howmuch time will it take to get GC for the people with above PD date?
Do i need to check the URL https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/ptimes.jsp?

i've been in the US on a f-1 visa since 2006. i am getting my masters at the moment. i am planning on getting married to my girlfriend who is a US citizen. i have been with her for the past 2 years and am dearly in love with her. we plan on getting married and i was wondering if i get married to her, can i apply for a green card right away or do i have to wait for a while before i can apply for a green card. she is also a student getting her bachelors.
my second question is that if i can apply for a green card then could i take a semester off and return to studying next semester or would that be a problem since i am on an F-1 visa.
i would appreciate it if i could get an answer soon so that i could take the semester off.

We have just received another H-1 approval for an end-client placement. There were two intervening vendors and the end-client declined to provide a letter stating that there is no requirement in law for them to provide any such letter. We had to get together convincing secondary evidence. I was highly doubtful we will get the approval, but we did. So, despite the January 8 memo from USCIS, there is life yet for consulting industry.

I am Canadian Citizen, born in India. My Father, USA Citizen filed I-130 for married son during FEB-2003 and approved. I am here in USA since 2006 working on TN, current status will expire in JAN-2013. Waiting for PD to current for my F-3 (Family), this month PD is 01JAN01.
Questions,
1. I can see now PD is moving fast, any idea, how long it will continue this trend? Since all know huge backlog making impossible to assess anything.
2. What next? filing I-485? and I-846 support letter? anything else?
3. How long this procedure will take in typical case?
4. While applying for Citizenship, did my legal authorized stay in USA count? or zero counter begins?
5. How do I get work authorization for my son in University? or for my wife, now stay home? Available any alternates?

My brother is working for company X.
They have recently got one labor cert approval. The ads are 3 months old which they used for one employee who is working in exactly his skillset and responsibility.
He is planning to ask the company to do one GC for him in same category.
1. Can they use the same ads for him also.
2. If they can use, then what amount of time will it save for him.
3. What are the different things one has to do, before filing labor like wage determination, with specific employee, and how much time each thing take. Are these tied to any specific employee, or can they be used for others also.
4. Somebody told me if valid ads are there, then it can save him 2-3 months, is it true.
