Hi does anyone know the current processing time for AP at the NSC. The website says 3 months but has anyone got it sooner?

If the new bill gets approved when will it likely take affect? I just had my LC approved today and they are going to file I-140. Before the EB-3 retrogression for all nationalities i was told i-140 an i-485 could be filed at the same time. what impact does the new bill have on my situation?

October is usually a month where we see improvements as new visa numbers become available for a new fiscal year. Most categories showed forward movement though few jumps of more than a few months. The exception is the Mexico Family 1st category which jumps a year and a half. EB-3 is available again, but not set at a date particularly close. Most people will not be happy with the dates. I would like to know can i change employer after my i-140 got approved.My i-140 got approved 6 months back and i have h1 until next year
You can shift to new employer and start the GC process again. The approved I-140 is useful to retain the PD if not revoked. Otherwise no use.

My I-485 and I-140 was filed last week. I was wondering how many days it takes to get receit and .
when does the six month count down for AC21 begin???? Is it after receit date or fedex date..thnx

You need to wait till your I-140 is approved. Otherwise, you will face problem in AC21 stage.
That said, the 180 days count from "receipt" date in your I-797 (receipt for I-485). And its better to have few days more, if not few weeks/months (just to be safe).

I am in US in L1 Blanket visa and is expiring on November 26th 2009.
I am planning to go back to India for renewal.
Suggest me the best option is to extend the status in US or to travel back to India for visa renewal.

I have an approved I 140 application and I485 not applied as the dates are not current. I have an opportunity to work for the same company same job profile and job code but in a different city. The new city falls under the same Metropolitan statistical area. Do I still need to re file my perm and I 140 in addition to H1b amendment ?

Hello - I just recd. the TRANSFER NOTICE for me & my wife's 485 case stating that the case has been transferred to USCIS-NBC, PO Box 648005, Lee's Summit, MO 64064. We had filed for AOS in July 2007 and my priority date for is April 2006 (EB-2).
I would appreciate it if somebody can please shed some light on what this means for us. What are the implications for us.? Will the case be transferred to the local office.? Should i start to gather documents for a interview.
Would appreciate any advice i can get. Thank you!

Hi all,
When started working for Company A it used to operated from 2 diffrent locations Newjersy ,New hampshire (Excutive office).
My Company applied Labor from NH in March 2005 (before perm).6 months back my case was moved to New York regional center ( i am not sure why it is moved to NY insted of newark NJ).
Recently they closed (in April 2010) the NH Branch .
What will happen to my green card ..? (labor is applied for NH location)
When i check with my employer he is saying NH location is Executive office it will not have any impact .
if reuqired he is ready open office in NH with new address
What should i Do...? i am totally in confusion state .. and now my dates current from july ,2010.

Hey HybridIllusion,
It all depends on what format your 2d image is in. If it is in AI or EPS, you can automatically import the image into Swift 3D and animate it. If it is a JPG or GIF, you might have a few more steps before importing into Swift 3D.
Take your image and import it into Flash. Export the Flash animation as AI (adobe illustrator) by going to File | Publish Settings | File Types tab. Check the AI box and then publish the movie. The image will be exported in the AI format. From the AI format, you can import into Swift 3D and animate with no limitations.

Applying for SSN doesn't invalidates your H1..
I received my EAD recently and shortly applied and got SSN. Its a card which allows you to work. Doesnt cancel nothing :D

I know that the EAD card comes directly to the applicant and not to the attorney.
What about RFE on EAD? Does that too come directly to the applicant?
Pls lets know when you get your EAD. It would be interesting to see how long it takes with this avalanche of EAD applications
